Help Us Find Internship Opportunities for NCHS Seniors!
Do you own a business, work for an organization that could host an intern, or know someone who does? We’d love your help! The NCHS Senior Internship Program gives seniors the opportunity to spend the final weeks of high school gaining real-world experience, exploring careers, and building valuable professional skills.

Open Arts Alliance- Spring 2027 Season
Open Arts Alliance is proud to announce its Spring 2027 Season.
Our audition-based Mainstage production will be the timeless classic "Peter Pan!" Students in grades 3–12 are encouraged to audition. Auditioners should prepare a short song of their choice to sing a cappella and will learn a short dance combination during the audition. Audition slots are limited, and pre-registration is required at www.OpenArtsAlliance.com.

New Canaan Cotillion
REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
New Canaan Cotillion is an organization that provides middle school-aged children the social skills essential to thrive in life. Girls and boys in 6th and 7th grade are invited to join this exciting initiative that will build confidence, polish manners and teach basic ballroom dancing! Each class will begin with 20-30 minutes of age-appropriate etiquette lessons, followed by simple ballroom dancing instruction and participation. Cotillion season starts in October 2026. A NEW 4-week series, led by Lorin Dunphy of File Mile Mahj introduces kids to the game of American mahjong in a fun, social, and skill-building environment. Each week builds on the last — from learning the tiles to playing full, independent games — so that by the end of the series, every child leaves as a confident mahjong player.
This program is designed specifically for a young audience: engaging, hands-on, and paced to keep 8-12 year olds excited from week to week.

The Dome - Edge of Darkness
Join us at The Dome on Wednesday, October 21st at 6:30 PM for the event of the year as we explore the comets, asteroids, and mysterious visitors that travel through our solar system. This special evening features Edge of Darkness, a stunning 25-minute film that takes viewers soaring over the towering cliffs of comet 67P, diving into the bright “lights” on Ceres, and witnessing the first-ever close-up views of the dwarf binary planet Pluto/Charon and its moons. Guests will enjoy a live presentation that brings these celestial objects to life and explores how they move through space. East School Fall Fair Spooktacular
October 24th from 9am-2pm
Don’t miss this fun-filled, family-friendly event at East School on October 24th from 9 a.m.–2 p.m., open to the entire community! Join us for games and prizes, bounce houses, face painting, arts and crafts, a kid-friendly haunted house, plus food, treats and more. Tickets for activities will be available for purchase at the door.This cherished community event is a PTC fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting East School. Alice in Wonderland Jr.
November 6-7 at Saxe
Saxe’s fifth- and sixth-graders are bringing Alice in Wonderland Jr. to the stage this November!
With Alice tumbling down the rabbit hole, the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts, it promises to be a lovely family outing — and a great way for younger students to get a glimpse of the opportunities that await them at Saxe.
